My Predictions:
Roman
Becky
Cody
Logan
I think if Bayley loses the Rumble, she’s kicked from Damage CTRL.
I hope Shawn Spears is in the Rumble at #10.
I hope both Rumbles are good with A few surprises.

First pointing at the Wrestlemania sign.

– The match on the whole was pretty good. There were some botches and scary moments. The crowd really seemed to care more about counting down than the actual match for the most part, which is a shame. There were moments when they woke up though–like when Cargill and Belair did their thing. Also, Jordynne Grace killed it, and I was actually mad when she got eliminated. I am so glad that Jax didn’t win. Cargill’s debut was good, a couple of botches notwithstanding. I figured they were going to have her as the antithesis to Jax.
Fatal 4-way Title Match:
– Orton comes out first
– Styles is out next
– LA Knight is out next
– Reigns is out last
– I gotta say Michael Cole is on it tonight. He did miss a call or two, but other than that, he is killing it. He and Pat McAfee riffing off each other is awesome. Still feel Graves has lost a step, and frankly is annoying. I used to like him a lot (he used to be one of my favorite announcers), but he’s getting worse and more annoying by the show. Also, he was missing calls more than usual.
– I gotta say–I don’t care about this match at all because there is a 99% chance that Reigns is going to win in some cheatery way. Hubby even asked me to fast-forward this match because we didn’t care that much. I wish I could have.
– Orton RKO’d everyone in the ring. He goes for the pin on Reigns. Solo pulls the ref out of the ring. He proceeds to take out Orton and then piles him and Knight up for Reigns. The crowd yells Awesome chants… I couldn’t disagree more. Solo is knocked out when he tries to take out Styles by ramming into the barrier Styles was resting against. Styles pins all three men for a 2 count. Orton lifts his shoulder. Styles pulls out a chair and hits Knight and Reigns with it. Orton stops Styles. Knight goes off on Reigns. Reigns hits Knight with a Superman punch, then hits Styles with a spear. Reigns wins.
– Outside of the match being a bunch of spots, it was a mediocre match with a predictable ending.
Logan v. Owens for the US title:
– that chop from Owens was crazy. I could feel that one.
– Owens’ chops are fierce throughout the match
– Both wrestlers are doing a good job selling the story of Owens’ hurt hand during the match.
– Logan Paul wins because of shenanigans.
– Owens puts Paul through the announce table after the match.
– this match was better than the 4-way. Love him or hate him, but Logan Paul is getting better and better with each match.
Men’s Royal Rumble match:
– Jey Uso @ #1
– Jimmy Uso @ #2
– Grayson Waller @ #3
– Andrade @ #4
– Carmelo Hayes @ #5
– Waller is out
– Nakamura @ #6 – crowd sings his song after he’s in the ring.
– Pat McAfee is crazy…dancing to Shinsuke’s music
– Santos Escobar @ #7
– Karrion Kross @ #8
– Again the crowd is dead, except for the countdowns.
– Dominik Mysterio @ #9
– Carlito @#10 – really wished it was Tye Dillenger
– Santos is out
– Bobby Lashley @#11
– Carlito is out
– Kross is out
– Lashley is out – The Pride fight with Lashley and the Street Profits to the back.
– Kaiser @ # 12
– Austin Theory @ # 13
– Finn Balor @ #14
– Hayes is out
– Cody @ #15
– Theory is out
– Bronson Reed @ #16
– Andrade is out
– Kofi @ #17
– Shinsuke is out
– Kaiser is out
– Walter (Gunther) @ #18
– Kofi is out
– Ivar @ #19
– Bron Breaker @ #20
– Jimmy Uso is out
– Omos @ #21 – why? Why is he out there? This dude is a please, no, and don’t. Why do they keep trying to shove this dud down our throats? Just a big, tall no.
– Ivar is out
– Pat McAfee @ #22 – he is hilarious. He kept climbing up and down the ropes, thinking about taking on Omos and Breaker. He eliminated himself in the end and went back to commentary.
– Omos is out
– Breaker is out
– JD McDonaugh @ #23 – gets clobbered by Breaker on the way to the ring
– R – Truth @ #24 – is trying to tag in with Dominik.
– McDonaugh is out
– Hot tag from Dominik to Truth
– The Miz @ #25
– Damian Priest @ #26
– R-Truth is out
– CM Punk @ #27
– Dominik is out
– Ricochet @ #28
– Miz is out
– Drew McIntyre @ #29
– Jey Uso is out

– Priest and Zayn are out
– McIntyre is out
– Walter (Gunther) is out
– 4th time pointing at the sign
– Punk is out
– Cody wins the Rumble, and frankly, I’m glad.
– 5th time pointing at the sign
– Reigns and Cody argued back and forth as the WWE went to a replay of the PLE (I hope they change it back to PPVs.).
On the whole, this year’s Rumble was pretty good. I’d give it a 3.5/5. The Women’s Rumble match was better than the Men’s. The moments and storytelling in the Women’s was better. The Logan/Owens match was rather good, though I didn’t like the shenanigans at the end. Logan is getting better with every match and the match was by and far the better between the two non-Rumble matches. The 4-way match felt very phoned in between all competitors. Even when the competitors were taking their breaks during the match, it looked like they were taking breaks and waiting, instead of playing up their tiredness and the rigors of battle. Also, like I said before, this match was unbelievable because there was no way Reigns was losing this match, so this match very much was a waste of time. Honestly, I don’t care about the Bloodline story anymore outside of someone (hopefully Cody) finally takes the belt from Reigns. Until that happens, I don’t care. Even if it ends up being Rock v. Reigns at Mania, their match should only be about the head of the table, not the belt. The crowd was kind of garbage and low energy for most of the night, except during the countdowns…though they did muster up some half-hearted “Awesome” chants and “Holy Shit” chants.
